What should society/your loved ones/your caregivers/your friends do to make life easier for a PWP (person with Parkinson’s)?

Understand that people with PD sometimes have days when they need a bit longer to get things done.

What would be your first suggestion to a newly diagnosed PD patient?

Don’t panic. Changes will typically take place slowly. Having a positive mindset and regular exercise is by far the best thing you should focus on, as well as building your relationship with your Neurologist. Each PwP’s journey is unique and requires creative solutions to cope with daily routines. Would you like to share a creative solution that can help other PwP?

Don’t be too hard on yourself to get everything right, be open to new opportunities, and be the best version of yourself you can be.
