The app leverages a clinically validated Movement Disorder API, a tool developed by Apple Inc. A study of 343 participants, including longitudinal tracking of 225 participants for up to six months, used the clinical gold standard (MDS-UPDRS) as a reference. Details of the study were published in Science Translational Medicine in 2021.
Upon prescribing the Parky app and your patient’s enrollment, you will receive a confirmation email. Subsequently, your patients’ reports will be conveniently accessible through the Parky Provider Portal.
